Why vector therapy is not an alternative to standard treatment

This method is not a substitute for comprehensive periodontal treatment – it cannot eliminate deep pockets of infection, pathological pockets or bone remodelling. The Vector system is a complementary tool. , which enhances the effectiveness of the main treatment and helps maintain the results achieved.

When we prescribe VECTOR therapy

• Following the main phase of treatment – to promote better healing.
• In patients with localised deep pockets where gentle debridement is required
• In cases where the patient has implants, thin or sensitive tissues.
• In cases of hyperaesthesia
• In patients with localised deep periodontal pockets (deeper than 6 mm), where delicate yet effective intervention is required without excessive tissue trauma.

We use VECTOR only when clinically indicated, and only in cases where it can truly be of benefit. It is a tool in the hands of a specialist — and, like any tool, it works best when used at the right time and as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
