Conference at Kyiv Medical University
25 September proved to be a special day for sharing experiences and professional development. A congress was held at Kyiv Medical University, at which Viktor Kryzhanovsky, founder and director of PERIO CENTER, spoke as a guest speaker. The theme of the congress was: ‘A multidisciplinary approach in the daily practice of a dentist’, which took place at Kyiv Medical University.
The event brought together students, interns and experienced colleagues seeking to view dentistry as more than just technical work with instruments.

Periodontitis is a systemic disease. We cannot view gum inflammation as an isolated problem. It is a process that affects the entire body, and only a systemic approach yields sustainable results.

“Bringing the mouth back into the body”. For too long, dentistry has existed in isolation from general medicine. Our aim is to break down these barriers and recognise that health begins in the mouth.

Treating the person, not just the teeth and gums. Technology is important, but behind every clinical case is a person. We treat the patient as a whole, taking into account their lifestyle, general health and psychological well-being.
